One of my favorite memories with Aunt Cindy was when she taught me how to make my then boyfriend's favorite meal. She took me shopping for everything I'd need, then she told me what to do to make lasagna and homemade cheesecake. She taught me pretty much everything I know about baking, I think that's why I love to bake as much as I do. It was never a chore for her, it was something she loved to do and everything she made was better than anything you can find in any store or shop. There are so many other memories I have but this is one that really sticks out for me. I'm going to miss her at our family "Black Sheep" Christmas dinners. It was a phrase that she loved calling them. Because, it was just a handful of our family and a few close family friends at my son's house. I will cherish every single memory of her for the rest of my life.
