Cynthia Lou Jensen's Obituary
Big Rapids -Cynthia L. "Cindy" Jensen, 60, of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. She was born on March 7, 1953 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Chuck and Kak Hall. She graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1971. Cindy was a licensed cosmetologist, completed Associates and Bachelor degrees in nursing from Ferris State University and a Master Degree in Nursing Management from Walden University. She worked for Mecosta County General Hospital for over 20 years and was currently working as Regional Director for Hospice of Michigan. Cindy is survived by her husband, Phillip Jensen, one brother Steven (Dee) Hall of Big Rapids, one sister and best friend, Sherrie (Wayne) Vaughn of Big Rapids, aunts and uncles, Dave and Marge Hall of Big Rapids, Bonnie and Doug Randolph of Spring Arbor, nephews and niece, Randy Hall, Jim Kuhn, David Kuhn,Brandon and Rocky Vaughn, Kathleen (Rex) Stout, who was like a daughter to her, plus several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Gladys Hall, her parents, first husband Louis Morlan and cousin, Scotty Randolph who always had a special place in her heart. Funeral services for Cindy will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Ed Milam officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
