In Loving Memory - Cynthia Kay Weipert - Big Rapids
Cynthia Kay Weipert, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away
suddenly at her home on April 24, 2024. She was 59 years old. Born on October 26,
1964, in Big Rapids, MI, the daughter of Robert W. and Mary Kay (Ankarberg) Weipert,
Cynthia brought joy to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother to her children.
Chad and Cody, and a cherished grandmother to Ty, Hunter, and Maggie, leaving
behind a legacy of love and warmth.
For over 20 years, Cynthia dedicated herself to her work at Bob Evans, where she
served as a manager. Her kindness and genuine nature touched the hearts of all who
knew her. Cynthia found joy in simple pleasures, often spending time coloring and
crocheting. She was known for her storytelling and ability to engage with anyone she
met. With a strong personality, Cynthia left an indelible mark on those around her,
always making her presence known with honesty and warmth.
Left to cherish her vibrant memory are her mother, Mary Kay Weipert; children, Chad
(Torri) Moore and Cody (Tina) Moore; siblings, Tim Weipert (Joan Birkam), John (Lori)
Weipert, and William (Heidi) Weipert; grandchildren, Ty, Hunter, and Maggie Moore;
nieces and nephews, Alyse (Torin) Gunther, Eddie (Dani) Weipert, Becca (Aidan) Levy-
Bencheton, Katie Weipert and Walker Weipert; and great nieces, Charlee and Layla
Weipert. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Weipert.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2nd, at the Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home
in Big Rapids from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (nationalmssociety.org).
A celebration of her life will take place on May 4th at 2 p.m. at 16490 Lakola Road, Leroy, Michigan, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life. Cynthia will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of
knowing her.
