Dale F. Louck's Obituary
Morley Dale F. Louck, 93, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Morley, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Pilgrim Manor in Grand Rapids. He was born May 12, 1914, in Aetna Township, Mecosta County, the son of Homer and Katherin (Schisler) Louck, and graduated from Morley High School in 1932. In 1934, he married Leone Coe, and lived in the area most of his life. Dale was a long-time area farmer, and also formerly worked for the Morley School System, and later Helms Products. He then worked for Ferris State University for over 20 years, retiring as Maintenance Supervisor. He also served as the Aetna Township Clerk for many years. Leone preceded him in death on October 10, 2006. Surviving are 1 daughter, Carol (Darle) Helms of Rockford; 1 son, Michael (Connie) Louck of Rockford; 7 grandchildren, Jeff (Barbara) Helms, Brenda Helms, Dina Louck (Richard), Darla Louck (Spencer), Roger (Jamie) Louck, Tracy Louck (Mark), Darin Louck; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 daughter-in-law Gloria Louck; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son Darell in February of 2007. ? ?Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Ila Flo Barfuss officiating. Spring burial will be in the Aetna Cemetery in Morley. Memorial contributions for the Pilgrim Manor Pastoral Fund may be left in care of funeral home, where his family will greet friends after 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
