Daniel Donald Vander Veen's Obituary
Edmore- Daniel Donald Vander Veen, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at The Laurels of Carson City. He was born on July 14, 1942, in Stanton, Michigan. Daniel was raised in the Edmore area and attended Edmore High School graduating in 1960. He married Judy Ann Drake in August of 1961. Daniel was employed by Day Construction as a supervisor for more than 30 years, before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed racing and working on old cars.
He is survived by his children, Lanny (Lynette) Vander Veen of Six Lakes, Tracy (Mike) Riley of Lakeview, Troy Vander Veen of Edmore; grandchildren, Lanny (Alyson) Vander Veen, Ryan (Jill) Vander Veen; great grandchildren, Mason, Vayda, Elliott.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Vander Veen; parents, Joe and Margaret Vander Veen, Donald Howe; granddaughter, Danielle Riley; sister, Charlotte Fields.
A funeral service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday November 17, 2021, at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, with Pastor John Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 16 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore.
