Dann Jene Brigham's Obituary
Dann Jene Brigham, age 88, of Stanton passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was born in Cadillac on August 14, 1937, to George and Myrtle (Reed) Brigham. Dann was raised in the Cadillac area before moving to Stanton where he attended Central Montcalm Schools. He was a hard worker his entire life who established that work ethic with local farmers and went on to McInerney Spring & Wire Co., Hinkle & McCoy where he worked his way to the position of foreman, eventually retiring from General Tire in the early 90s. Over the course of his long career, Dann also ran a successful side business hanging drywall. On November 6, 1965, Yvonne Blonk became Dann’s wife. Together the couple would spend a little more than 60 years together building a beautiful family and legacy. Dann had a wonderful sense of humor- he was known as a great storyteller and a real people person. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially those who played guitar. A tinkerer at heart, Dann enjoyed fixing lawn mowers and took great pride in the tomatoes he grew in his garden. He knew all the best spots to forage for morel mushrooms and wild asparagus and often took relaxing rides on his golf cart.
Dann is survived and missed by his beloved wife, Yvonne Brigham; daughters, Sharon Brigham, JoAnna (Richard) Bignell, Peggy Robey; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Brigham; sons, Dann G. and Raymond Brigham; grandchildren DJ, Randell, and Samatha Brigham; and his siblings, Bill, Julius, Jack, Dick, George, Shirley, Doris Donna, and Larry.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later time. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Lakeview.
