Darwin A. Mishler's Obituary
Paris, MI - Darwin A. Mishler, 87, of Paris, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born on November 21, 1928 in DeWitt, MI, the son of John and Edna (Sabotta) Mishler. Darwin was happily married for 62years to Marie L. (Lindsey) Mishler. He worked for 36 years at Benedict Manufacturing. Darwin enjoyed fishing and farming. He is survived by his wife, 3 children Deborah (Mel) Wilcox of Fremont, Randy (Vicky) Mishler of Reed City and Sherry Funk of Newaygo, 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Marge Schonborn, Annabelle Yost, Marilyln (Herbert) Zinser and one sister-in-law, Yvonne Mishler. Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Joseph Mishler, and one sister, Ruth Earnest. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14,2016 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Darwin's name to the American Heart Association.
