David Lyle Moore's Obituary
David Lyle Moore, age 66, of Edmore (formerly of Stanton), passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 20, 2026.
David was born on August 22, 1959, to Forest and Nina Moore. David spent much of his working life in manufacturing, including time with Electrolux and Federal Mogul. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, tinkering on cars, and any projects around the home. In later years, David found comfort in the quiet of his home, with his wife of 46 years, Cherie.
David was preceded in death by his parents and stepparents, Forest and Dorothy Moore, Nina and Millard Brasington; and brother, Michael Moore.
David is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cherie; son, David Lyle Moore II; daughter, Rachelle (Andrew) Lumbert; and granddaughters, Marly and Mia Lumbert.
Cremation will take place with a celebration of life planned for a later date.
