David Duane Raab's Obituary
Big Rapids - David D. Raab, 60, of Paris, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital. He was born October 18, 1954, the son of Arthur and Marian (Rainey) Raab, and graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1972. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany for most of his enlistment. After his honorable discharge, he later returned to the area, and worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years. Dave is survived by his daughter Danielle Raab of Grand Rapids; his son Levi Raab of Paris; 2 grandchildren, Kade Skinner and Violet Williamson; 3 brothers, Leslie, Philip (Michele), and Ronald (Nena), all of Paris; I sister Deborah Shaw of Hesperia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and a brother Jerry. A memorial gathering for Dave will be from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
