David Leroy Warner's Obituary
David Leroy Warner, son of the late Wilson and Evelyn (Young) Warner, was born February 10, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan and passed away January 27, 2021 with his family by his side after battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. He graduated from Lakeview Community School in 1974 and was active in football, wrestling, and musicals. He was a lifelong member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Howard City, where he was a youth counselor, choir member, usher, elder, and janitor.
He worked at Electrolux March 3, 1977 until they closed their doors in 2006 (29 years). He was preceded in death by his parents, father- & mother-in-law, Dave & Judy Bovell, and cousins Neil Young 1989, Terry Nelson 1990 and Bill Schmitz 2004.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife, Jody (Bovell) Warner whom he married October 1978; his children, Scott (Celeste) Warner of Foley, AL and Steven (Theresa) Warner of Pinellas Park, FL; his sister, Jannean (Art) Shaul of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 grandchildren, Emily Rose, Jacob Wilson, Evelyn Meritha, and Iva Mae; cousins, Joyce (Larry) Staffen, Kale (Sherri) Fisher, Dr. Norman (Cecile) Plews, Bonnie (Pat) Boyd, Monte (Chris) Young, Linda (Pat) Parr, Patty (Paul) Catlin, Crystal (Craig) Gulseth, Jill (Allan) Shepard; and many second and third cousins.
Visitation will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, Friday, April 9th from 7-9pm and Saturday, April 10th from 10-11am followed by a Celebration of Life with luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, please give to Bethel Lutheran Church of Howard City, Michigan.
