David Walter Welge's Obituary
Edmore-David Walter Welge, age 71, of Edmore passed away at Spectrum Health Hospital in Greenville on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born in Evanston, IL on April 4, 1950, to Harold and Lorayne (Kuska) Welge. David was raised in the Des Plaines, IL area where he attended the Des Plaines Public Schools graduating from Main West High School in 1968. Upon graduation David served his country proudly in the Navy from September 1968 till September 1972. He was the owner of Dave's Communications Systems for 30 years retiring in 2016. David married Carla Jean Green on July 21, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada in the Little Chapel of the West. David enjoyed fish, birds both watching and feeding, and traveling all over the world.
David is survived by his wife, Carla of Edmore; children, Michelle (Derrick) Sellers of Alabama, Teresa (Chris) Harris of Florida, Donovan Green of Florida, Jessica (Jaden) Thompson of Illinois.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Richard Welge.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with Pastor Ernie Toppenberg officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
