Obituary
Edmore- Dawn Christine Thrush, 56, passed on to her eternal home on January 12, 2019 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Alma, Michigan.
She was born to Bernard and Lucille (Deurloo) Hansen on December 21, 1962 in Greenville, Michigan. Dawn was raised in Coral, Michigan and went to Lakeview High School. Dawn married her husband of almost 36 years, Ned Thrush, on February 14, 1983 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She attended Davenport University (Alma Campus) where she earned an associate's degree. She was employed by Carson City Hospital for more than 15 years as a Medical Records Specialist.
Dawn's many hobbies included her cats, scrapbooking, crafts, and, photography, She delighted in writing poetry and reading her Bible. She loved spending time with family especially her grandson Colton. She was a member of the M-46 Tabernacle in Riverdale.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Ned; children, Amy Thrush of Sheridan, Corrine (Bodie) Miller of Edmore, and Aaron Thrush of Edmore; grandson, Coltin Garcia of Sheridan; and 2 special grandcats, Navy and Buzzy; sisters; Sandy (Jim) Larsen of Greenvile, Amber Malek of Fremont, Janice Hansen of Greenville, Cindy Vedder of Fenwick, and brother, Todd Hansen (Jaccii Herzog) of Gowen; father-in law and mother-in-law; Lyle and Vivian Thrush of Vestaburg, and several brothers- in- law and sister-in law.
Dawn is preceded in death by both of her parents; Bernard and Lucile Hansen, her brother; Jimmy Hansen, and 2 brothers-in-law, Jake Malek and Don Vedder.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the M-46 Tabernacle and on Wednesday one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service held on January 16 at the M46 Tabernacle. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Interment will be at the Coral Cemetery in Coral, MI following the luncheon.
