Debra Joanne Flynn's Obituary
Debra J Flynn passed away January 12, 2020 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Her beautiful soul is now in heaven. Debra lived in Stanton for the last 22 years.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ted Flynn; their son, Tony Flynn and Kasi, father of Morgan, Danni and Baylee Flynn. She is also survived by her loving parents, John and Joanne Sinclair; sister, Kathi Swartz, brother in law Greg Swartz, brother, Tommy Sinclair, sister in law Janie Sinclair, brother, David Sinclair, and sister in law Janice Sinclair; her aunts and uncles, Tom and Pat Smith, Larry and Dorothy Smith; (Len Smith has preceded her in death); nephews, nieces and cousins throughout the United States.
Debra was an active member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic parish in Edmore, Michigan. She spent time serving on the parish council as Education Director and decorating the church, touching the lives of many who have worshiped there.
Deb was a Special Education Teacher in Lakeview Michigan for the past 22 years. She also had taught Special Education in Texas, Alabama and Georgia where she was the Director of a residential Special Education School in Conyers, Georgia (Cloister Creek). All together over 40 years touching the lives of children and loving each and every one she taught. Her passion for a life of teaching will be missed.
For those wishing to share some memories or send a special thanks for all to read there will be a memory book at the visitation and funeral for writing or leaving of messages.
Visitation will be at Brigham Funeral Chapel at 413 E Gilson St. Edmore, Michigan on Monday January 20th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with a rosary at 7:30 PM. The funeral mass will be offered at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church at the corner of Peoples Road and Hwy 46 in Edmore on Tuesday, January 21st at 11:00 AM in Edmore Michigan.
