D. Felix Younger, age 83 of Mecosta, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Cremation will take place with no service to follow. Felix was born May 15, 1935, the son of Talmadge and Florida (Powell) Younger. He is survived by his Read Obituary

His daughter, Becky, and I were inseparable during our impressionable years and Felix was an amazing, strong figure who taught me that doing the right thing is always the best policy. Even if it meant that someone got in trouble, it was best to face the problem head on. He was a gentleman in every way. He loved his family very much and it was clear to see by even the smallest of gestures. Passing on my deepest sympathies at this difficult time. I hope Barb, Becky, and Troy can find peace in their fond memories. Monica

He worked tirelessly to help the people in his counties have a better life. He was good at solving problems of all kinds. He would develop new resources to set unmet needs and supported his staff by getting them better office space. He always had time to listen. He was one of the people I missed seeing when I retired. I can only imagine how much you will miss him. You have my deepest sympathy. The world is a better place because Felix was here.
