Devon Mae Denslow's Obituary
Devon Mae Denslow age 16, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 at McLaren Central Michigan Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Devon was born April 28, 1999 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of David and Wendy (Ordiway) Denslow.
Devon enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her sisters; whether it was having a book read to her or just cuddling with them. She enjoyed her trip to Disney Land and playing in the water. Devon also enjoyed the time she had with her physical therapist doing therapy and her teacher making all kinds of crafts. Devon just enjoyed spending time with her family and others that were especially close to her; she had a smile that would light up a room. Devon would get an attitude and kick her feet with you when she didn't like something you were doing. Devon will be missed dearly by her family.
Left to cherish Devon's memory are her parents, David and Wendy; her sisters, Destiny, Danielle and Dana; grandmother; Mary Lou Denslow, great-grandparents, Richard and Bernice Smith and Virginia Denslow. Devon was preceded in death by her grandparents, David Denslow, Willis and Connie Ordiway; great-grandparents, Nile Denslow, Basil and Violet Ordiway.
Funeral services for Devon will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Vestaburg. Visitation will also take place Saturday one hour prior (12:00 PM) to services. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider memorial to the Denslow family to help cover funeral cost.
