Diane Louise Wood's Obituary
Diane Louise Wood, age 60, of Lakeview passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on July 8, 2018. Diane was born on March 1, 1958 in Sheridan, the daughter of Donald and Elaine (Rigg) Newman. She was raised in the Edmore area and graduated from Montabella Public Schools with the class of 1976. She continued her education at Montcalm Community College and became a paralegal. She was employed by Mustonen Law Offices, and later by Ice Mountain. On March 23, 2018, Diane married Terri L Hite in Stanton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dogs, cats (especially Bengal tigers), birds, going to the casino and nascar racing.
Diane is survived and will be dearly missed by her spouse, Terri Hite; her children Kye M (Kristin) Wood of Six Lakes and Karli Wood of Remus; grandchildren Brendan, Xavier, Harmony, Jordan, Jayde; great-grandchildren Johnathan, Journey and one more on the way in August; her brothers Lanny (Janet) Newman of Blanchard and Tim (Karen) Newman of Eaton Rapids; father-in Law, Larry Hite; mother-in- Law, Jenny Ecker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sue (Duane) Brainerd of Leroy, Janet Schaub of Newaygo, Norm (Trish) Hottmann of Luther, Mike Hite of Hersey; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Elaine Newman.
