Dick Daryl Haenke's Obituary
Edmore- Dick Daryl Haenke, age 54, of Blanchard passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Dick was born in Carson City on May 6, 1969, the son of Daryl and Wanda (Bowen) Haenke. He grew up in Blanchard and graduated from Montabella High School with the Class of 1988. Upon graduation, he attended Northwestern Auto and Diesel in Lima, Ohio. Dick was a hard worker, wherever he worked. He loved tractor and steam shows, Ford trucks, and deer hunting. Dick is also a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion.Dick will be missed by his children Travis (Ashlee Andrews) Haenke of Blanchard, Haley Haenke of Blanchard, and Ethan Haenke of Blanchard; grandchildren, Colton, Remington, and Brooklyn; brother, Eric Haneke of Blanchard; and good friend, Dale Allen.Dick was preceded in death by his parents Daryl and Wanda.Funeral services for Dick will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Blanchard Millpond Park with Pastor Gale Nesbitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Those wishing to contribute to the memory of Dick are asked to consider the needs of the family.
