Dissia Jane Ramey's Obituary
Dissia Jane Ramey, our sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday September 16th at 12:00 PM, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus with Pastor Ray Freeze officiating. Family will greet friends from 10:00 AM to the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service at Barryton Church of Christ. A private burial will take place at Flake Cemetery.
Jane was born August 31, 1938 in Marmaduke, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Oma (Boggs) Chilcutt. She loved going to garage sales, camping and gardening, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A member of the Remus Church of God and more recently the Barryton United Methodist Church, Jane was loved by many in her church family.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Steven (Debbie) Buys of Barryton; grandchildren, Heather (Thomas) Weiler of Alma, Tracy Buys of Barryton, Nathan Buys (Ashley) of Paris and Becky Mae (Jesse) Welling of Remus; great-grandchildren, Korian, Page, Chloe, Boe, Jessa and Daisy; special friend, Chuck Shaw; special neighbor, Nancy and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; four brothers and three sisters.
