Dolores M. Page's Obituary
Paris Dolores M. Page, 81, of Paris, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 13, 1925, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Fitch and Mabel (Frasher) Rose, and graduated with highest honors from Big Rapids High School in 1947. On February 7, 1948, she married Claude E. Page, and has lived in Paris since then. Dolores was a longtime member of St. Annes Catholic Church in Paris. Throughout the years, she enjoyed the piano, dancing, roller skating, an occasional bingo game, and loved the Price is Right. Her greatest joy was her family; providing, supporting, and protecting them always. Dolores is survived by her husband and soulmate Claude; 9 sons, Tom of Paris, Bob (Sue) of Jenison, Jim and Jack (Vivian) of Paris, Bill of Mason, Richard (Victoria) of Ludington, Dave, Mike (Linda), and Joe of Paris; daughter Claudia (Bill) Johnson of Paris; daughter-in-law Diane Page; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; her half-sister Jean Olsen and her half-brother Kevin Rose; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolores was preceded in death by her son John, 2 brothers, Jim and Ed Rose, and sister Della Voistneet. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Big Rapids, with Father Lam T. Le and Father Loc Trinh con-celebrating officiating. Burial will be in the St. Annes Cemetery. Doloress family will greet friends at the Mohnke Funeral Home tomorrow (Tuesday) from 3-7 p.m., with Rosary Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
