Donald Kermit Andersen's Obituary
Edmore- Donald Kermit Andersen, age 77, of Six Lakes passed away at his home on July 15, 2022. He was born on February 14, 1945, in Edmore, the son of Kermit and Ruth (Beagle) Andersen. Donald was raised in the Edmore area and graduated from Edmore High School in 1963. He served in the Army after high school for two years. He was employed by General Motors working in assembly for 28 years. Donald enjoyed working on his home making repairs when needed. If he wasn't working on his home, Donald enjoyed woodworking and would often make furniture, cabinets, applying joinery to make more complex projects. Working at General Motors sparked an interest in cars and taking drives when possible. Donald was a member of American Legion Post 101 in Greenville, Mi.
Donald will be missed by his children, Steed Eric (Diane) Andersen of Edmore, Brandi Jean (Allen) King of Riverdale; grandchildren, Nathan, Grace; sister, Janet Witkowski of Barryville, VA.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will take place at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore Michigan. Family is welcoming friends and family at 1PM. An interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery. In Six Lakes, Michigan.
