Donald Thomas Hacker's Obituary
Lakeview-Donald Thomas Hacker, age 79, of Six Lakes passed away at his home on Monday, January 27, 2020. He was born in Entrican on November 27, 1940, the son of Fritz and Chloe "Opal" (Burris) Hacker. Donald was raised in Entrican and attended school in Stanton. He was employed by Federal Mogul in Greenville, where he made bearings and did machine set-up for other businesses, for over 34 years, before retiring in 1996. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, golfing, watching football, raising fruit trees, and especially visiting with family and friends. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1939 in Greenville.
Donald is survived by his son, Dennis (Tammy Kay) Hacker of Six Lakes; daughter, Roberta Saunders of Greeley, CO; grandchildren, Dennis (Kristina) Hacker Jr., Mellissa (Ricky) Childs, Bruce Stoner, Justin and Jessica Saunders; 7 great-grandchildren, Catalina Maston, Justin James Hacker, Kyra Bell, Cody and Clay Childs, Donte and Elaina Stoner; brother, Wayne Hacker of Vestaburg, sister, Frances Holmes of New Hampshire; and sister-in-law, Sandra Hacker of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenore in 1991; his wife, Eileen in 2009; a son, Tony Thomas Hacker in 1976; his parents; 2 brothers, Carl (Bea) and Larry Hacker; and a sister, Ruth Pasche.
No services are scheduled at this time. Interment in Hillside Cemetery in Entrican will take place at a later date.
