Donald Robert Landgraf's Obituary
Rodney - Donald R. Landgraf, 83, of Rodney, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, at his residence with his daughter at his side.
He was born November 14, 1936, in Grand Rapids, the son of Robert and Matilda (Tessman) Landgraf, and graduated from Barryton High School. Don then worked for a time at Denham's Manufacturing in Big Rapids.
For over 40 years, Don owned and operated a dairy farm near Rodney. He enjoyed his land and the outdoors in general, especially hunting, fishing, and his dogs. Don had a wonderful gift of gab, and loved spending his time with family and friends. He also attended Trinity Fellowship Church in Big Rapids.
Don is survived by two daughters, Joann (Paul) Stevens of Morley, and Suann Landgraf of Rodney; 3 grandchildren, Matthias, Naomi, and Jonathan Stevens; his sister-in-law Janet Landgraf; his niece Barbara (Tyler) Cook; and grandniece Cadence. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard in 2019, and his former wife Mary in 2013.
Funeral services will be at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Gary deBock officiating. Burial will follow in the Martiny Township Cemetery near Rodney.
