Donna Marie Cross' Obituary
Edmore - Donna Marie (Fister) Cross, age 63, of Edmore, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma, MI with family by her side. Donna was born in Daggett, MI, the daughter of Walter and Bonnie (Bird) Fister. She was raised in Carney and graduated from Stephenson High School. Donna moved to Big Rapids and Fenwick, Greenville and Crystal, before finally settling in Edmore. She continued her education obtaining her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Montcalm Community College. Donna enjoyed helping others and was employed as a C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting, crafts, making soap, extreme coloring, and she was an avid Packer's football fan. Her main love was for her grandchildren and teasing her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
The children of Donna and Robert Cross survive her, Robert James Cross II of Edmore, Kelly Lynn (Mike) Frederick of Midland, and Jacqueline Christine (Chad) Hancock of Edmore; grandchildren Calvin Cross, Michael Frederick, Jordan Frederick, Alexis Cross, Melissa Cross, Gavin Frederick, Ashly Hancock, Ryan Frederick, Jacob Frederick, Caleb Frederick, Hunter Slaughter, and James Hancock; one great-grandchild Delilah Frances Ann Cross; her mother Bonnie Jean Fister of Stephenson; siblings Roger Fister, and Bill (Lynn) Fister both of Stephenson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her father Walter Frances Fister; one infant brother; and one sister Vicki Lehmann.
Funeral Services for Donna will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with the family accepting friends for visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. All are invited to a luncheon in the Brigham Funeral Chapel Banquet Room following the service. Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the family.
