Donna Belle Lewis' Obituary
Donna Belle Lewis, age 87, of Edmore passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones and caregivers; her grandson, Nick, and his wife Leah (Stratton) Lewis.Donna was born on November 17, 1935, in McBride, Michigan, the daughter of Phillip and Dorothy (Sharp) Miles. In her younger years Donna loved her animals, gardening, and cooking. Later in life she enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing cards. Her favorite card game was Skip-Bo. She was always ready for a game (or four) when anyone stopped to visit.Donna is survived by her children, Nadine Beemer, Tim Lewis, Chris Lewis, Lee (Sandy) Lewis, and Scott Lewis; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Alice (Claude) Griffen, Carolyn Bigler, and Tom (Pat) Miles; and many nieces and nephews.Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Lewis; a grandson, Wesley Bolf; brothers, Wayne Miles, Leon (Nadine) Miles, and Steve (Sharon) Miles; sisters, Doris (Jesse) Flowers, Phyllis (Val) Stokley, Shirley (Dale) Hamer, and Joyce (Roger) Phillips.A celebration of life luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 2 PM at the Douglass Township Hall.
