Edward James Smith's Obituary
Edward James Smith age 62, passed away peacefully with family at his side in Lyons, Michigan. Edward was born the son of Robert and Leona (King) Smith on May 18, 1953 in Alma, Michigan. Edward enjoyed spending time outdoors; especially fishing.
Edward is survived by his children; Doug Hopkins of Riverdale, Telesa (Curt) Collar and Shawn (Ron) Stine both of Lakeview, step-children; Novalee Morrow, Ondalee Lucas, Temberlee Morrow and Brenda Crittenden, grandchildren; Tiye, Sheena and Allison Norton, Ariel Hopkins, Devin Collar, Austin Moore, Aiden Smith, Evan Stine and Douglas Hopkins Jr, brothers and sisters; Earl Smith, Joyce Molina, Raymond Smith, Robert Smith, Junior Smith, Louise Gross, Larry Smith, John Smith, Steve Smith and Robert Lee Smith. Edward is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service is planned for Monday, July 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore with Pastor Greg Gladding to officiate. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service those wishing to visit with the family. Burial to follow in Riverdale Cemetery. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider memorials to the "Wishes of the Smith Family".
