Big Rapids - Edward H. Witzman, 82, of Big Rapids passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on July 13, 1932 in Flint, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra; sons, Craig Witzman of Toccoa, GA, James (Ila) Witzman of Boon, MI; daughter, Kimberly (Eric) Harvey of Reed City, MI; grandson, Edward Witzman of Toccoa, GA; brother, Melvin Witzman of St. Helen, MI; sisters-in-law, Karen (Dave) Forrest, Kay (Mike) Webb, and Virginia Sanborn; plus many nieces and nephews. There are no formal services planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Project Starburst of Big Rapids. Envelopes are available at the Mohnke Funeral Home of Big Rapids.
