Eldon Thomas Morrow's Obituary
Eldon Thomas Morrow, age 99 passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alma Michigan. Eldon was born January 29, 1916 in Ferris Township, Michigan the son of William and Pearl (Zuver) Morrow. Eldon served his country proudly during WWII in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945.
Eldon was united in marriage to the former Marian Bennett on November 2, 1946 in Port Huron, Michigan. Marian preceded Eldon in death on March 15, 2007. He worked for G. E. and Hitachi for 26 years before his retirement in 1979. Eldon enjoyed gardening and tinkering in the garage. He and his wife Marian also enjoyed taking bus trips and touring all over.
Eldon is survived by a special nephew; Melvin and wife Sandy Morrow, Edmore, Michigan, several more nieces and nephews; 1 brother in-law and 3 sisters' in-law. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother and wife; Russell and Veda (Hartman) Morrow.
In keeping with Eldon's wishes there are no services planned. A private burial took place in Ferris Township Cemetery.
