It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who left this world on December 20, 2024. Many knew as a beacon of kindness, laughter, and wisdom, leaving a profound impact on so many who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on December 28, 1966, Elizabeth dedicated her life to God and family, serving as a supportive mother to her six children and a devoted wife to her husband, Joseph. Her unwavering faith and trust in God were cornerstones of her life, guiding her through challenges and inspiring those around her. As the wife of a pastor and missionary, she helped teach and support a broad vision for their church and family in the wilderness of Northern Maine for over 2 decades.
Her infectious laughter and quick wit brought joy to countless gatherings, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Elizabeth had a remarkable ability to uplift others, often sharing her wisdom and encouragement, making her a source of comfort.
In the years before her passing, her love for her family was unparalleled. She poured her heart into her children and grandchildren, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and resilience. Her legacy will live on through them and the many lives she touched with her generosity and spirit.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Joseph McNally, her six children, Joseph (Karen), Benjamin (Vanessa), Hannah, Sarah, Jeremiah (Abigail), and Judah; grandchildren, Zoe, Zachary, Zeke, Kai, Harper, and Joy; brothers, Steven and Timothy; sisters, Deborah and Hannah; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Trudy.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Elizabeth’s family will greet friends beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
