Elmer "Bud" Lee Cecil's Obituary
Elmer "Bud" Lee Cecil age 83, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Beaumont Hospitals, Troy, MI. Elmer was born November 5, 1931 in Charleston, WV, the son of Charles Cecil and Evelyn (Butrick) Inman. Elmer was a Carpenter for many years. He also co-owned and operated Inman Assisted Living Center for over 20 years. Elmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing and listening to country music.
Elmer is survived by his children; Cynthia (Steve) Ahart of Tucson, AZ, Jeanne (Dave) Pettit of Alma, MI, Dennis (Nora) Cecil of Wayne, MI, Larry Cecil of Clarkston, MI and Rob Foust of Clarkston, MI, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Cecil, Evelyn and William Inman and four sisters; Kate Patterson, Mae Custer, Erma Nielsen and Fran Ehle.
Funeral Services for Elmer will take place Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore with Pastor Susan O'Bryan to officiate. Visitation will take place Monday and Tuesday July 6th & 7th, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore, MI. For those wishing to do a memorial contribution are asked to consider "Wishes of the Cecil Family".
