We often wrote letters to each other. Eloise frequently suggested herbs that would help my health. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get through to her lately, but have many warm memories of our connection.
I knew Eloise many years ago when I would visit her in the Davison/Flint area. I'm impressed that she remained an active Baha'i into her late 80's....an example for all of us!
Eloise was an inspiration to me for over 25 years. I saw her a few days before her passing and her devotion to Baha'u'llah still shone. I will always remember her as my spiritual grandmother. Condolences to the family.

Eloise Mitchell was such a wonderful, dignified lady. She was very kind to us Louhelen Residential College students. I am certain that she had a very special place reserved for her in the Kingdom of God, for all her kind, exemplary service. Best wishes
