Elton J. LaFramboise's Obituary
Big Rapids Elton J. LaFramboise, 87, of Canadian Lakes, formerly of Wayne County, went home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, January 30, 2009, at Mecosta County Medical Center. He was long time resident of Wayne County, where he was employed as a tool and die maker for Republic Tool and Die and Hydromantic until his retirement in 1985. Upon retirement he moved to Canadian Lakes in August 2002. Elton was a long time parishioner of St. Marys Catholic Church in Canton. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and gunsmith. Wife, Anna Mae (Sanecki) preceded Elton in death September 28, 2006. Elton is survived by 2 sons, Michael (Gail) and Joseph (Janice) LaFramboise; 2 granddaughters Amber and Megan. Elton was preceded in death by parents Angeline (Roulo), Louis and Ira LaFramboise, brother James, and sisters Alfreida and Susan. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave., Wayne, Michigan. Memorial contributions for the Alzheimer Association of Michigan may be left at the funeral home, where Eltons family will greet friends on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home.
