Emma Grace Hyde's Obituary
Morley- Emma Grace Hyde, age 93, of Morley, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Born and raised on the family farm near Amble, Emma was born to Herman F. Ulrich and Salome on Clark August 17, 1924. She attended school in Morley where she graduated in 1942. On January 5, 1947, she married her loving husband William of 71 years. William and Emma had a dairy farm where they raised Holstein cows, which started her collection of Holstein cow memorabilia. Emma worked and retired from the Walton Erickson Public Library. She attended Deerfield Bible Church.
Emma will be missed by her husband William Hyde of Morley; Daughters Cinda Jefts of Stanwood and Mary (Jim) Lodden of League City, TX; Son John (Shirley) Hyde of Reed City; Grandchildren Susan (Aaron) Felske, Jill (Ted) Patin, Brian (Sandra) Jefts, Julie (Keith) Bowman, Stacy Lodden, Sarah (Brian) Fink, David Hyde and Mark Hyde; great-grandchildren Chloe Felske, Kyla and Meric Patin, Rebekah, Abigail and John Bowman, Naomi, Aubrey, Leah and Isaiah Fink.
Emma will be received in heaven by her siblings Clara Ulrich Marlette, Arthur Ulrich, August Ulrich and her son-in-law John Jefts.
The family will receive friends on Sunday March 18 from 5 to 7 at Brigham Funeral Chapel-Lakeview. Memorial Service will Monday March 19 at 11 AM at Brigham Funeral Chapel-Lakeview with Pastor Frank Taylor officiating. A luncheon will follow the service with Interment following the Luncheon. Memorial contributions can be made to the Walton Erickson Public Library or Deerfield Bible Church.
