Esther F. Ball's Obituary
Rodney - Esther F. Ball, 90, of Rodney, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018, at her home.
She was born August 5, 1927, in Merrill, the daughter of Dewey and Ethel (Signs) Smith, and lived in the Saginaw area most of her life. In 1966 she married Fred L. Ball, and they spent time between Saginaw and their home on Hillview Lake in Colfax Township. Esther was an Avon Representative for 55 years.
Her husband preceded her in death in 2008. Surviving are 1 daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Baugh of Rodney; 1 son, Thomas (Barb) Barber of Rodney; 3 grandchildren, Gary Marr, Tanya (Mike) Guild, and Timothy (Andrea) Barber; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Nicole Hudson, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
A Celebration of Esther's Life will be held from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., Sunday May 20, 2018 at the Big Rapids Aerie Eagles #2535. Memorial contributions in Esther's name may be made to the Mecosta County Senior Center.
