Ethyle Louise Hanson's Obituary
Lakeview - Ethyle Louise (Krewson) Hanson, age 83, of Lakeview passed away peacefully on September 3, 2018. Ethyle was born on December 4, 1934, the daughter of Ike and Hazel (Stickroe) Krewson. She was raised in Sparta and graduated from Sparta Public Schools. She worked as a shipping clerk for a national fruit manufacturer. In February of 2008, Ethyle married David L. Hanson. She enjoyed flowers, playing bingo, cooking dinners for her park, crocheting and feeding the family of wild ducks near her home; if she was late with their food, they would come to the door. She loved to travel, especially to Alaska and spending the winters in Florida. Ethyle loved to sing in the choir and had a really good voice. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Lakeview.
Ethyle is survived by her husband, David Hanson; two sons, Mark (Marilyn) Lyons, Auburndale, FL, and Randy (Betty) Lyons, Crystal River, FL; step children, Robert (Kim) Hanson, Clarkston, Brenda (Bruce) Vance, Pleasanton, CA, Bonnie Stroud, Jackson, TN; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Duane Lyons, and Burnitt Derby; her parents, and four brothers.
Funeral services for Ethyle will take place on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Brigham Funeral Chapel, Lakeview with Pastor Roger LaWarre officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. All are invited to a luncheon in the Brigham Funeral Chapel Banquet Room following the interment at Lakeview Cemetery.
