Eugene A Zank's Obituary
Alma- Eugene A. Zank passed away on June 10, 2018 at Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant. He was born to Edward and Neva (Miller) Zank on December 10, 1934 in Detroit Michigan. Eugene grew up in Detroit until 8th grade when he moved to Edmore and graduated from Edmore High School in 1953. On June 5, 1954 he married his wife Patricia in Edmore. Eugene spent 43 years working for Lobdell-Emery Manufacturing as a general laborer and then eventually as a Scale Master until he retired in January of 1997. Eugene loved trains. He was a lifelong rail fan, model railroad enthusiast and had a love for music and fishing.
Eugene will be missed by his children Kathy (Dennis) Norkooli of Alma, Richard (Linda) Zank of Alma and Paul (Liz) Zank of Wheeler; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Zank; his parents Edward and Neva Zank; his only brother Robert Zank; and granddaughter Joie Lynn Kade.
Service of Eugene will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 1 pm at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with a visitation beginning at 11 am. A committal will be held immediately following the service at the Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore.
