Evelyn Jean Courtright's Obituary
Evelyn Jean Courtright, age 87 of Remus, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Margaret’s Meadows in Remus. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to follow Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta. Pastor Greg Buchner will officiate with a luncheon to follow.
Evelyn was born May 5, 1929, the daughter of A.J. and Neva (Gibbons) Steinman. She enjoyed painting, gardening, walking, and was an avid reader.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Robert J. (Janet) Courtright, Thomas J. (Cindy) Courtright, and Trudy (Michael) Kowaleski; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; one sister, Carrie May Steinman, and two brothers, John and Alfred Steinman.
