Faye Lynn Bowman's Obituary
Faye Lynn Bowman, 61, passed away at her home in Wyoming, MI on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Faye was born in Big Rapids on November 8, 1951, having a battle with premature birth. In spite of spending her life in a wheelchair, she graduated from Union High School in Grand Rapids and Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Faye is survived by her mother, Wilma Bowman of Grand Rapids, plus many aunts, uncles and cousins descending from the Clyde Bowman Sr. and Clyde Hull families. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde L. Bowman, Jr. and her son, Luke Jamison Powers. A memorial service for Faye will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday April 5, 2013 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Fr. Lam T. Le officiating. Family will greet friends beginning at 12:00 noon prior to services.
