Felix Hernandez's Obituary
Big Rapids- Felix P. Hernandez Jr., 54, of Big Rapids, went to see his maker on Monday, January 9, 2017, following a month long illness. He was born on February 27, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Felix P. and Fern Herandez Sr. Felix was an avid outdoorsman. He is remembered as being a very kind hearted and friendly man. He is survived by one son, Nathaniel Hernandez-Botma of Big Rapids and special friend of 22 years, Mert Randall, three brothers; LeRoy, David and Rodney Hernandez and one sister, Anna Cowell, plus many nephews all of Flint. Felix is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Felicia and one sister, Rosemary Hernandez. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
