Gail Marie Hamblin's Obituary
Edmore- Gail Marie Hamblin, age 67, of Edmore, passed away Saturday May 8, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gratiot in Alma, Michigan with her family by her side. Gail was born in Denver, Colorado on December 15, 1953 to George and Mary Lou (Ingram) Hamblin. She was raised in the Edmore area and graduated from Montabella High School with the class of 1972. She was employed for more than 27 years at Hitachi Magnetics in Edmore as a furnace operator and retired when the plant closed in 2005. Gail loved knitting, spending time with her family and her very loved dog "Sam". She was a member of the Hitachi U. A. W., and the Montcalm County Democrat Party. Gail's family would especially like to thank Gail's niece Courtney Cesar for the wonderful care she gave Gail over the last couple years. They would also like to thank the R. N. Donna Sutton, in the I. C. U. at Gratiot Hospital for the care she gave Gail and the help she provided the family.
Gail is survived by 3 sisters, Lynn (Richard) Bandfield of Riverdale, Jill McLees of Orleans, Jody (Mike) Randall of McBride; 2 brothers, Mark (Amy) Hamblin of Canadian Lakes, Dave (Lori) Sallek of Lansing; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Lou; sister, Amy Gibbs; brother-in-law Richard Gibbs; niece, Erin Hamblin; stepmother, Esther Hamblin and her beloved dog, "Sam".
A Funeral Services for Gail will take place Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 1 pm at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with pastor Steve Hale officiating. The family will greet friends at 11am until the time of service. The interment will take place at the Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore, Michigan.
