Gale Lynn Carrick's Obituary
Gale Lynn Carrick, age 52, of Vestaburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, August 19, 2015 at his home. Gale was born August 20, 1962 the son of Gerald and Charlene (Priest) Carrick. Gale was united in marriage to the former Shannon Shepard on March 6, 2004 in Vestaburg, MI. Gale has been a Fireman for Richland Township Fire Department for several years. He was a devoted Christian and faithful member of the Pine River Church of God. Gale always lent a helping hand to his friends and neighbors; he was always helping people with lawn care and snow removal. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. Gale was a loving and devoted husband and father; he will be dearly missed.
Gale is survived by his loving wife, Shannon, his children; Justin, Jerred and Brogen Carrick and his brothers and sisters; Elwin, Ken, Margaret, Karen and Dennis. Gale was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Gale will take place Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Pine River Church of God, 9970 N. Crystal Rd., Vestaburg, MI 48891 with Pastor Roger Day to officiate. Visitation will also take place Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will take place in Richland Township Cemetery with a presentation done by the Richland Township Fire Department Honor Guard.
