Gary Robert Christensen's Obituary
Edmore- Gary Robert Christensen, age 74, passed away at his home on Monday, May 23, 2022, with family by his side. He was born in Lakeview on March 04, 1948, the son of Harry and Florence (Hansen) Christensen. Gary was raised in Edmore, graduated from Edmore High School and was employed with Hitachi for over 30 years. Gary enjoyed life and had fun. He loved spending Saturdays at the "Tin Can" with family and friends, being outside, maintaining the yard and woodworking. Gary was a best friend and mentor to many, and his workshop was always open for visitors.
Gary is survived by his daughter, JoLynn Steffes; granddaughter, Meagan Steffes; brothers, Dale (Frances) Christensen, Dan Christensen, Keith Christensen and many nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Newman); parents, Harry and Florence; sister, Lee; brother-in-law, Ivan; and sister-in-law, Sheila Christensen.
