Gary G. Graboskey's Obituary
Gary G. Graboskey, 77, of Paris, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born April 21, 1935, in Reed City, the son of Gordon E. and Edna (Coon) Graboskey, and graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1953. On November 20, 1954, Gary married Barbara Hamilton. For 35 years, Gary worked as a machinist for the Gardener-Denver Company, and more recently he worked at Nartron for 10 years until retiring in 1997. Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; 2 sons, Dean of Grand Rapids and Darrel of Kansas; a daughter GaeLyn (John) Switzer of Florida; daughters-in-law Kim of Kentucky and Laura of Holland; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Debra in 1965, his parents, and a brother Eddie. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Ed Milam officiating. Burial will be in the Park Hill Cemetery in Paris. Memorial contributions for the American Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home, where Gary's family will greet friends on Wednesday, Dec. 26, from 3-6 p.m., and after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
