George Erwin Jones' Obituary
George Erwin Jones, age 80 passed away November 5, 2015 at home in Remus, with family at his side. George was born August 9, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan the son of the late Clarence and Razella (Rattry) Jones. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 - 1956.
George retired from Morbark Industries. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles well into his 70's.George also enjoyed wood working, fishing and just being outdoors. You could find George in his workshop tinkering.
George is survived by the love of his life; Nona Sellers, children; Rodney Jones, Roger Jones, Ricky (Linda) Jones, Renee (Todd) Chapman, Scott Sellers and Brian (Sara) Sellers, 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers and 1 sister; Donald, Helen, Charles and Dave Jones.
Celebration of Life Service for George will take place Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore with Pastor Jim Bear to officiate. Visitation will take place Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore. Interment will take place in Pine River Cemetery in Blanchard with full military honors conducted. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider Cystic Fibrosis.
