George Cousineau Jr.'s Obituary
Bitely George Cousineau Jr., 74, of Bitely, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at his residence. He was born May 25, 1935, in Bitely, the son of George and Hilda (Windquist) Cousineau. George was born and raised on the family dairy farm in Home Township. He chose this as his occupation and continued to work on the farm for the remainder of his life. In 1970, he married Helen Sharon Jorgensen, who survives. Also surviving are their 4 children, Carrie (Warner) Myntti of Reed City, Jeff (Teri) Hull of Rodney, Suzette (Todd) Andres of Sparta, and George (Tina) Cousineau of Tecumseh; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alice Chapman of White Cloud and Agnes Hornsby of Hesperia; 2 brothers, Raymond Cousineau and Ralph (Florence) Cousineau, both of Bitely; a sister-in-law, Marion Cousineau of Remus; and many nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Roy and Leonard Cousineau; and a grandson, Zachariah Hull. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2009, at the Amazing Grace Acres Church, 762 W. Woodland Park Drive in Brohman, with Pastor Rosswell (Lucky) Fulton officiating. Burial will be in the Whipple Cemetery in Newaygo County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amazing Grace Acres Church, where Georges family will greet friends on Thursday, August 6, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and after 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
