George Donald Daniel Murphy's Obituary
Age 90, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home.
Sweet, kind, and loving are words used to describe George. He was a man of deep faith with a great sense of humor. Gardening, photography, and telling jokes were a few of his hobbies. George was known best for being a handyman who could fix anything.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mildred; sister, Kathleen Newton; children, Michael (Virginia) Murphy, Rosamond Murphy ( Eric Fahlgren), Sharon Murphy, and Teri Murphy, and grandchildren, Joseph and Peter Murphy, Alec, Trystan, Galen, Fiona, and Thorin Murphy-Fahlgren, and Tyler Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary (Foster) Murphy; daughter, Colleen Murphy; Brothers, Raymond, Joseph, and John Murphy, and his sisters, Mary Murphy, Monica Ralph, Rosamond Murphy, Ruth Emanuel, and Eileen Zahn.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at church.
