Gerry was a force for the good. When I think of a memorial for him, I remember how he bought a steeple for the Rodney United Methodist Church and saw it raised up into place on that ancient, humble, and historic place of worship.
He had a strong connect

I loved him very much
Gerry was quiet, kind and a true gentleman. I became acquainted with him when I became a member of the Mecosta County Historical Society where he served as Treasurer for many years. Gerry will be greatly missed by all. RIP dear friend.
Gerald will be missed by many. He was a steady, kind, consistent friend to all his neighbors, organizations, the environment and so much more. We were lucky to have him in our lives. "Well done good and faithful servant".
