Hazel Mae Campbell's Obituary
Hazel M. Campbell (nee: Towne), born February 22, 1927, died on August 23, 2016. She will fondly and forever be remembered by her grandchildren, whom she greatly loved, and who greatly loved and appreciated her, in return: Sean Campbell and his wife Elizabeth; Kyle Campbell and his wife Kimberly; and Shannon Campbell and her husband Seth. Three great-grandchildren, Eric, Alexander, and Hannah Campbell, will also miss her. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Russell, her children Ed and Joyce, and all five of her Towne siblings. No visitation is scheduled. Hazel will be interred and, afterward, a graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, August 29 at 5 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes, Michigan. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
Because Hazel often mentioned a dream of opening a soup kitchen for the hungry, her grandchildren ask that, in lieu of flowers, one consider a monetary donation in her memory to a food pantry, soup kitchen, or the American Red Cross. Lastly, Hazel would encourage you to provide the children in your lives abundant attention and unconditional love, just as she provided her own children and grandchildren throughout their lives with her and Russell.
Arrangements are being handled by Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan.
