Helen Lucille Hammond Griffin's Obituary
Helen Lucille Hammond Griffin, age 97, of Lakeview, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital Long Term Care Facility. She was born on December 29, 1918 in Ohio, the daughter of Jesse and Edith Carpenter Hammond. Helen married Dean Griffin on January 26, 1956 in Lakeview, Michigan.
Helen will be missed deeply by her son Ernest "Ernie" Griffin of Lakeview, Michigan.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Dean on August 28, 1969; and her parents Jesse and Edith Carenter Hammond.
A Memorial Service for Helen will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Free United Methodist Church in Lakeview, Michigan with Pastor David Wade officiating. A luncheon will take place following the service at the church.
Graveside services for Helen will be held on Monday, at 10:00 A.M. at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Michigan.
