Helen Jurden's Obituary
Lakeview - Helen Cleo (Pollard) Jurden, age 89, of Remus, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville, MI. Helen was born January 10, 1928 in Rosebush, MI, the daughter of Clyde and Margary (Simons) Pollard. She was raised in Barryton, MI and attended Barryton Public Schools. Helen married Rollo Jurden in 1948 in Holland, MI. She was employed by Everett Products for over sixteen years and worked on the family farm over eighteen. Helen was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lakeview, MI. Helen enjoyed collecting cups, plants and planting flowers. She loved her dog (Tuffy), watching birds and feeding them, animals in general, and spending time with friends and family.
Helen will be missed by her stepchildren Iva Swartz of Clifford Lake, and Cindy Pinse of Townline Lake, and Mike (Laura) Jurden of Kinyoss; many friends and church family.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Rollo "Rod" Jurden and stepson Virgil "Buster" Jurden, one step-daughter Ellen Bozer.
In accordance to Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Morton Township Cemetery in Mecosta, Michigan. Condolences to the family may be made utilizing the guestbook at www.brighamfuneralchapel.com
