Helena Virginia Lane's Obituary
Stanwood - Helena Virginia Lane, 95, of Stanwood died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Metron of Big Rapids Nursing Home. She previously lived in the Royal View Assisted Living facility. Helena was born in Mecosta Township, the daughter of John and Anna (Hase) Ebel, on April 16, 1919 and was a lifelong resident of Stanwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Lane. Surviving are her two sons, Jerry Arthur (Christine Sible) Lane and Bruce Richard (Beverly Swindell) Lane; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, Helena will be cremated and buried at Highland View Cemetery in Big Rapids.
